CONSTRUCTION DESIGN DEFECT FOUND WITH A/C-HEATING INTAKES

While gutting so many of the units here at FCC and now while
overseeing the installation of the A/C-Heating units in
several units, I have discovered a pre-existing design
defect in the construction of each condo where the air
intake section of your A/C-Heating unit is located.

This design defect allows unfiltered air to go through your
A/C-Heating system which causes extra dust in your unit and
additional maintenance problems with your A/C-Heating system
as the unfiltered air will eventually clog up your condenser
causing reduced air-flow and reduced efficiency (meaning
higher electric bills!).

Please call me and I will come by your unit and show you
where this defect is located and how to remedy it yourself,
at no charge for my advice. If you would like me to repair
this defect, I would be able to do this for around $25.00 -
$40.00 per unit. I am available in the evenings and
weekends for these minor repairs so please call me or email
me for this repair or any other handyman work you may need
in your unit.

The current contractors who are working on the A/C-Heating
units do not have this repair as part of their contract and
since it is not hurricane Katrina related, it is not covered
by the insurance, so they are not remedying this
construction design defect. This is something that has
existed in most units (unless a particular owner had this
defect repaired) since the construction of the buildings and
has probably led to the early failure of many of the A/C
units and has also led to the freezing up, clogging up and
overflowing water from many of the A/C units.

This repair is basic handyman work and is not relative to
the A/C-Heating unit so you do not have to use an expensive
A/C-Heating contractor to remedy this defect.

Thank you for your continued readership and please print out
this newsletter and give a copy to your neighbors who may
not be on the email list. Only around 1/2 of the
owners/tenants at FCC are on my email list so please tell
your neighbors about the newsletter and the construction
design defect.

Until next time... let "The Fountain of Information"
flow!!!!!

Sincerely,
