Page 11 of 17 also has the page number 113 on the bottom
right. Page 12 of 17 has the title "ESTIMATE TOTALS".

On those pages, you will see the bold "Repair Item Totals"
which is basically a sub-total of all of the unit estimates
and then you will see where the insurance estimate adds 10%
for Contractor Profit and 10% for Contractor Overhead. This
amounts to nearly $100,000.00 for just the rear courtyard
flood victims. If they do this to each claim, Chet and the
Board will basically be confiscating nearly $300,000.00 from
the owners settlement claims.

My additional research on the Internet has found the
following two sites

(http://home.flash.net/~flash6/HTMLarticles/bod.htm ), which
itemize other Condo Associations with similar problems with
their Boards (aka BOD's) and what they did about it.

In Texas, the Attorney General's Office took action against
an offending Board of Directors so maybe that is the next
thing to do with the Board at FCCA.

or visit their website at
http://www.ag.state.la.us/Complaint.aspx to file your
official complaint. Their site advises that they do not
handle "insurance claims complaints" (which is handled by
the Insurance Commissioner) but this is not an "insurance
claim" or insurance company complaint... this is a complaint
about a small group of people (Chet and the Board) stealing
your money... or refusing to give you YOUR money that was
properly paid by the insurance companies. Make this clear
to Foti's office that this is a "Consumer Fraud"
complaint!!!!! Actually, there is a link on the Complaint
web page to bring up an online complaint form that you can
submit right from your computer.
