Photo Caption - See the "soaked" bricks which is caused by
shoddy workmanship or by not having gutters; and also from
the bricks needing to be sealed so any water that does get
on the walls does not soak through the bricks.

I did some research on the internet over the weekend and
found several informative sites where the process to "seal"
the brick walls from the outside is not only possible but
cost effective... considering the alternative in tearing
down the brick walls and rebuilding them or re-pointing the
entire walls.

Here are some of the links to websites that explain the
various processes:

There are hundreds of more websites with information on the
various processes to "seal" the bricks and mortar.

Maybe that is something that Chet Hingle is researching now
that he is employed FULL-TIME as the Manager by the Condo
Association (according to one of the Board Members).

I have uploaded the various pictures that I took of the NEW
"wet" areas in several units caused by the rain and they are
viewable or downloadable at this link:

Until next time, let "The Fountain of Information" flow!!!
