Fw: "The Fountain of Information" - Wednesday, November 16, 2005 - LATE BREAKING NEWS

LATE BREAKING NEWS CONCERNING YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Due to this writer putting several pieces of the puzzle
together, I BELIEVE I have solved the "missing $80,000.00 or
more" (from the rear courtyard flood victims) which should
have actually been the "missing $100,000.00 or more". We
won't know for sure... until the Board finally discloses all
of the financial information that they should have been
disclosing from day one!!!!

The original figure that Chet Hingle and the Board put out
on the doors of the mostly vacant 22 units in the rear
courtyard added up to ONLY $321,000.00. Through a very
reliable source, I learned that the actual amount offered
for the rear courtyard flood damage was OVER $400,000.00!!!!
This led to my reporting about the "missing $80,000.00 or
more" several weeks ago.

I am not sure if Chet and the Board were trying to hide this
money or if it was just ineptness that led to the
"low-balled figures" being put on the victims doors.... but
I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE SETTLEMENT OFFER.
Even though Chet and the Board only put out $12,000.00 for a
1BR, $15,000.00 for a 2BR and $24,000.00 for a 3BR, each of
those figures should have been around $5,000.00 more BUT
Chet and the Board failed to tell these victims that they
would get another $5,000.00 or more after all of the units
are repaired. This is the amount that is being disguised as
the "depreciation figure that is reimbursable to the
association" in the more recent letters that have been going
out to other victims in the front courtyard and the upstairs
north building victims. That sentence is still so vague and
it appears that Chet and the Board are still trying to
"hide" your money from you since they are not being clear
with their statements.

I have learned that the flood insurance program is holding
back the final payment of the claim until all of the units
have been repaired... why, I do not know, but this held-back
money is what is being referred to as the "depreciation
figure". Chet and the Board should have properly
communicated this information to ALL OF THE VICTIMS so that
there would not be so much anxiety caused to so many of the
unit owners who were wondering how they would fully repair
their units with the "low-balled figures".

If this was an honest mistake, they could have cleared it up
nearly four weeks ago by issuing a new letter explaining the
missing money. If it was intentional, as a way to "hide"
money from the victims, then SHAME ON THEM!!!!!

UPDATE ON THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SETTLEMENT FIGURES-

I have received several emails and phone calls from
concerned owners/victims giving me their information. Even
I am shocked at the wide disparity in settlement amounts
being offered to people with similar damage.

I am still in need of more information from the front
courtyard, and the rear courtyard too, so please take a
moment to read the previous edition of "The Fountain of
Information" and answer my questions as soon as possible. I
will still publish my comparison chart with the available
information and I should be able to fill in most of the
missing figures so that everyone will have a clear view of
the insurance settlement figures that Chet and the Board are
"floating around".

My comparative analysis report should be out in the next two
days.

EDITORIAL REPLY AND QUESTIONS TO ASK AT THE ANNUAL MEETING
NEXT MONTH... OR IN PERSON, IF YOU GET LUCKY ENOUGH TO
CORNER CHET OR A BOARD MEMBER IN THE COURTYARD-

WAS CHET AND THE BOARD PLANNING TO "HIDE" THIS MONEY FROM
THE VICTIMS? I DO NOT KNOW... BUT IT SURE SEEMS LIKE THEY
WERE CAUGHT WITH THEIR HANDS IN THE COOKIE JAR SINCE THEY
HAVE NOT FULLY DISCLOSED THIS INFORMATION AS OF THIS DATE
AND THEY STILL REFUSE TO SHOW ANY UNIT OWNER THE FINANCIAL
RECORDS AS THE BYLAWS SAY THEM MUST!!!

WHAT WERE THEIR PLANS FOR THIS HUGE COMMUNITY CHEST OF
MONEY... PAID FOR ON THE BACKS OF THE VICTIMS?

WERE THE NON-VICTIM OWNERS GOING TO BE ASSESSED AN EQUAL
AMOUNT OF MONEY OR WERE THEY JUST GOING TO BENEFIT FROM THE
COMMUNITY CHEST OF THE ILL-GOTTEN MONEY?

WHY DO CHET AND THE BOARD THINK THAT THEY HAVE ANY RIGHT TO
KEEP SOME OR ALL OF THE VICTIMS MONEY FROM THEM?

THE VICTIMS HAVE PAID THEIR CONDO DUES WHICH IN TURN PAID
THE INSURANCE PREMIUMS SO THE VICTIMS SHOULD BE GETTING ALL
OF THEIR MONEY... NOT JUST THE PART THAT CHET AND THE BOARD
FEEL THEY SHOULD GET, WHILE CHET AND THE BOARD ARE TRYING TO
BUILD UP A COMMUNITY CHEST OF ILL-GOTTEN MONEY!!!!

CHET AND THE BOARD SOMEHOW THINK THAT THE INSURANCE
SETTLEMENTS ARE THEIR MONEY, INSTEAD OF REALIZING THAT IT IS
THE VICTIMS MONEY AND THE BOARD IS ONLY THERE TO DISTRIBUTE
ALL OF THE MONEY TO THE VICTIMS. CHET AND THE BOARD DO NOT
HAVE ANY RIGHT TO KEEP EVEN ONE PENNY OF YOUR INSURANCE
SETTLEMENT MONEY. SOMEHOW THEY THINK THAT THEY ONLY HAVE TO
GIVE YOU PART OF THE MONEY AND THEY CAN KEEP THE REST!!!!
WHAT NERVE!!!! WHAT A PITIFUL SHAME THEY ARE BRINGING ON
THEM SELVES.!!!! HOW CAN THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT????

I HAVEN'T SAID IT YET, BUT IF THEY REALLY WERE TRYING TO
ENRICH THE COMMUNITY CHEST OR THEMSELVES, ON THE BACKS AND
WALLETS OF THE HURRICANE VICTIMS, THEN THERE IS A SPECIAL
PLACE IN....!!!

OOOPS.. I ALMOST SAID IT! :-D

REMEMBER... "ILLUSTRATING ABSURDITY BY BEING ABSURD!!!!"

Until next time, let "The Fountain of Information" flow.
