Headline - HOLLYYYYYYY CRAAAAPPPPPPP!!!!!!

That was really the only headline that I could think of that
would properly set the tempo for this LATE BREAKING BIG TIME
NEWS!!!!!

About an hour ago, I received a phone call from a source
that had the exact amounts of the checks that have been
issued to FCCA from the National Flood Insurance Program...
for the rear Courtyard flood claim.

I first have to admit that I was mistaken about the "OVER
$80,000.00 MISSING" and I was also mistaken about the "OVER
$100,000.00 MISSING"... well, actually I wasn't mistaken
since I did include the word "OVER"... because the actual
amount of MISSING MONEY, OR MONEY BEING HIDDEN FROM THE
FLOOD VICTIMS IN THE REAR COURTYARD WAS OVER $200,000.00.
That's right... OVER FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS (OVER
$500,000.00) WORTH OF CHECKS HAVE BEEN ISSUED TO FCCA FOR
THE REAR COURTYARD FLOOD VICTIMS AND STILL, THE BOARD IS
ONLY TELLING THE VICTIMS ABOUT $321,000.00 BEING AVAILABLE
TO THEM TO RENOVATE THEIR FLOODED UNITS.

The exact check amounts issued to FCCA are as follows:
around 10/21/05 - $5,000.00
around 10/21/05 - $150,000.00 (There may be another
$150,000.00 check also!)
around 12/1/05 - $317,465.79
around 12/1/05 - $46,763.61
around 12/1/05 - $600.00

GRAND TOTAL - $519,829.40

Well, I stand corrected.. it's not "OVER $200,000.00
MISSING", just "OVER $198,000.00 MISSING" from the original
estimates given to the owners back on 10/20/2005.

The original letter put out by Chet and the Board to the
Flood Victims in the rear courtyard had the following
amounts listed:

3BR - $24,000.00
2BR - $15,000.00
1BR - $12,000.00

Since there were three (3) 3BR units, seven (7) 2BR units
and twelve (12) 1BR units, this totaled only $321,000.00
EVEN THOUGH THE ORIGINAL SETTLEMENT OFFER WAS OVER
$400,000.00 and I now believe the exact amount of the
original settlement was around $467,000.00 to $472,000.00
since the first three checks added up to that amount. The
$46,763.61 check and $600.00 check were the amounts that the
Board was able to get NFIP to pay over the above settlement
offer. They should be congratulated for fighting for more
money BUT WERE THEY GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT?

THEY NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT THE ORIGINAL OFFER OF OVER
$450,000.00.

THEY ONLY TOLD YOU $321,000.00 SO THEY WERE PLANNING AND ARE
STILL PLANNING ON CONFISCATING NEARLY $200,000.00 FROM THE
22 FLOOD VICTIMS IN THE REAR COURTYARD... OR WERE THEY
PLANNING ON USING NEARLY $200,000.00 TO RENOVATE THE LAUNDRY
ROOM AND REC ROOM? THEY MUST HAVE BEEN PLANNING ON MAKING
THEM LIKE ONE OF SADDAM HUSSEIN'S PALACES, WHILE THE REST OF
YOU WERE SCRAPING EVERY PENNY TOGETHER TO TRY AND RENOVATE
YOUR FLOODED UNITS.

Using the new settlement figures of $519,000.00, the amount
of ESTIMATED SETTLEMENT PROCEEDS THAT EACH UNIT OWNER SHOULD
GET IS AS FOLLOWS... and this is just from the flood
insurance for 4' down.

3BR - $30,000.00 each totals $90,000.00
2BR - $24,000.00 each totals $168,000.00
1BR - $20,000.00 each totals $240,000.00

TOTAL FOR 22 UNITS $498,000.00

This would still leave over $21,000.00 to do the repairs to
the Laundry Room and Rec Room and the contractors that I
have gotten estimates from would be able to complete those
two rooms for that amount... unless FCCA is responsible for
replacing the actual washers and dryers... then a few
hundred dollars from each unit would have to be deducted
from my estimates above.

AND REMEMBER, THESE ARE THE ACTUAL CHECK AMOUNTS ISSUED TO
FCCA, SO THE DEDUCTIBLE HAS ALREADY BEEN WITHHELD FROM THESE
AMOUNTS... SO THE BOARD CAN'T TRY TO SAY THEY HAVE TO
CONFISCATE SOME OF YOUR MONEY FROM THE ABOVE AMOUNTS FOR THE
DEDUCTIBLE!

FOR ALL OF THE OTHER VICTIMS... UPSTAIRS AND IN THE FRONT
COURTYARD... YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!!!! THEY'RE COMING AFTER
YOUR MONEY NEXT!!!!

REFERENCED WITH THIS POLICY NUMBER SO YOU FRONT COURTYARD
VICTIMS CAN CALL FEMA AND FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON WITH
YOUR CLAIMS AS WELL!!!!! OR YOU CAN HOLD YOUR BREATH
WAITING FOR CHET AND THE BOARD TO TELL YOU! LET ME KNOW IF
YOU'RE GOING TO HOLD YOUR BREATH WAITING FOR THE BOARD, SO I
CAN CALL 911 ON YOUR BEHALF... OR RATHER THE CORONERS
OFFICE!
